Got a couple more shots of the eagle today. The first two were earlier this morning....he flew right over the house. Shots three and four were taken at sunset out on the reservoir. I included shot four because he had just taken a sip of water...one of these days I'll get his beak in the water...

Today I got to practice with an Osprey that was fishing in a tidal creek. No shots of him plunging into the water yet but I swear I'll get one of those one day...

Photo 1: Soaring along the tidal creek searching for something.
Photo 2: Ooooh, he sees something.
Photo 3: Turning towards object.
Photo 4: Targeting the object.
Photo 5: Commencing dive.

Thank you both. Photo 2 from the Osprey continued post fascinates me. I keep looking at all the different angles of the feathers in that shot and it's simply amazing to see the dynamics that are taking place in the blink of an eye.
