The copper coil absorbs the free solar energy through the special coated surface. This absorption of the solar infrared rays raises the temperature of the water stored in the collector. The collector is well insulated for increased heat retention, and has a 97% transparent cover.

The 42" diameter solid copper coil is extruded by America's largest copper manufacturing company. This design allows the collector to store the colder water in the hottest area, the center of the coil. As the water is heated by the sun, it flows to the outer ring of the serpentine coil.
