February Photo of the month thread - post contest images here
Anyone who wishes to enter the contest for February please post your images here - It'll make it a lot easier on the contest judge(s) if they are all in one place. And yes, I know it is still January, but I am taking off for the weekend and wanted this thread ready for the 1st of February.

Thanks everyone,

Great idea to have one thread for the contest this time! Are we starting now to post for Feb or should we wait til the first?

"Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground."

I like the new signature! Sounds like something my dad would say!

Wow, Dave! Great idea to use January's winning shot from Sage!

Guess I'll open the February contest with these shots.

The trees were looking crunchy, as if covered with sugar. Up close, the branches revealed it was just snow. :)

To give you an idea of the snow coming down, I shot Roger who left the car to get some shots of a local waterfall.

The shot of the windshield as the snow was falling made interesting designs as snow melted and new flakes landed. Though not "snowflake" shot, the flakes designs are evident. Didn't have my macro lens with me!

Sage, I love those snowy pine pictures.
That first one is really great. I love it!

I thought that I would throw my first bluebird of the year into the fray.
