The last time I "hovered" to look close at something.... it jumped out of the screen at me and things went flying.... you definitely got my attention on that one Ralph so I have to admit I didn't want to "hover" too close to the monitor looking for where the name of my photo was hidden just in case I was getting set up again and something was going to jump out at me. Gloria got me going in the right direction. I went upstairs and made a few wild sloths come down and show me where my file name was. I cheated. I hope I can remember that trick next time. My panel is my husband and the boys.... eat your heart out!!! I don't know if I've got time to "consult" with my panel with only one day left. I know what I'd hang on my wall.... vultures and opossums but.... I didn't take any photos of those this month. I'm leaning toward another dragonfly since that's what I took a lot of photos of this month but I did get a really nice mason bee that has me torn and then there was a damselfy that was hot off the press so to speak just coloring up in the warmth of the sun.

amelanchier> I'm pretty sure it's a carpenter bee. I tagged it Eastern Carpenter Bee, Xylocopa virginica.

turttle> I like NC especially the far western part where sandie40 lives but I've got an uncle and aunt who live sorta in the middle of the state. It's a pretty state and it knocks your socks off in fall. Nice place to live. I'd visit you but I'd probably never want to go back to Illinois if I did.

The wheat photo is truly gorgeous, Havalotta. Just the color of MrILovetheAnts honey.

I had to figure out that the file names come up with the posted figures - I posted a couple of bird butts and then was looking at a photo on another forum and noticed the caption. I had to race back and take the names off of them before y'all laughed at me.

I've been using photos' file names as part of the humor on my "rewilding" thread.

If you stare at the picture and unfocus your eyes, you can see a grasshopper in 3-D!

LOL! I could *never* see any of those 3-D pictures/paintings.

I do it as an eye exercise when I am working at the computer for a long period of time, I found that it really helps in preventing eye strain. Besides that, they are really cool!
