I couldn't just let you win - without any competition.
That waterfall picture is darn good. I usually make my own cards. The picture is the easy part. Trying to come up with a saying to go on the inside is the hard part. I'm not much of a writer. This year I stole a few lines from the song "White Christmas". |

I use a glue stick for attaching photos to the fronts of cards. Learned that trick last year when I ran out of Elmers. The photo stays flat on the card much better with the glue sticks. With glue sticks all over the place for so long I really don't know why I was stil using the Elmers other than to use it up. For the insides of cards I pick sayings that mean something to me or that the other person might like and then I write a little personal note. They don't necessarily need to be related to the actual reason why I would send a card but more so to the photo I picked. I send out a few cards every month but mostly to out of town relatives.
Really nice that you took the time to personalize Chistmas cards. |

I have lots of pictures, mostly birds and flowers. But for December pics, I will need to take some more... we had a big ice storm last night that would have made for lots of great pictures today. But I had to work and couldn't really get out play with my camera.... of course by the time I get off work, its too dark to get the good ice effect.

Ah, don't feel bad. I'm always a day late and a dollar short for kodak moments. At least you caught one above with the cardinal.
No ice storm by me but we did get hit with 14" of snow. Think I'd rather have the snow then the ice. Power outages are the pits. |

I definitely would rather have snow than ice. We were lucky, we never lost power. But lots of people have lost power.... the red cross has opened up warming centers at local schools and churches for people without power. It is supposed to get REAL cold here tonight, and there are still lots of people and businesses without power.
WE saw a caravan of utility repair trucks pulling into the local motel last night. Its a welcome sight. |

I don't send out Christmas cards...because I always forget to. Like I did this year. For the 30th year in a row. Luckily, my friends know I mean no disrespect, LOL~

I have a picture sort of like that, but the weeds sticking up are all weeds -- invasive weeds.
