All right rjbman! That IS a great photo.............

That frog was
bearly visible
but if you looked really close
you could see it perched
amongst the flowers.

Yes indeed - the frog turned what would have been a rather ordinary flower image into something quite striking. (I did like the peek-a-boo bear , though...)

Congrats to all the June photo contest winners.

My favorite is fishlkmich's bird photo. I just laughed so hard when I first viewed it. That bird is sooooooo focused on it's reflection. And the photo is captured at the perfect moment.

A few more details on my peek-a-boo bear photo:
That's Flora, baby orphan male bear cub. And yes Flora really IS playing peek-a-boo WITH ME! I was sitting right next to the tree trunk when I took the photo. Peek-a-boo and Hide-n-Seek were favorite games of the cubs. They introduced needed skill sets for the bear cubs while satisfying that urge to play with me, but in a non-physcial manner.

The daylily had striking color to it. It would have been a great photo on its own. The frog in the center made it a fantastic photo.

I didn't see the frog until you mentioned it. Amazing.
