Default December 2016 photo of the month winners

First place to havalotta for the pretty photo of Christmas lights.

Second place is amelanchier's photo of the winter morning country scene.

Great photos. Thank you to both of you.

Congratulations, Hava and Amelanchier! Two very pretty December images. There is nothing worth photographing here at the moment. January is shaping up to be a cloudy, dreary, wet month.

Thank you!

The last few days have been pretty rotten weather here too. Lots of rain and thaw. The snow palace I built with my daughter is melting. Very unusual for this time of year, but we had a super-warm winter last year too. I shudder to think this is the new normal (I prefer a proper winter).
