Hi Havalotta, truly wonderful fall is, of which now in the early days of September we (Arkies) are just beginning to see some of the colourful signs of seasonal change. I always look forward to the blooming of the Solidago.

Nice mushroom series, ww. I especially like the 4th one with the clusters of tiny ones.

They're coming...I just got done looking through this month's photos...I'm not gonna bother looking into past Augusts. With the stiff competition, it is likely all in vain.

Well, I guess I might as well add them here:

It seems the extra five days was a good idea!

Yup. I think this is the first time I took advantage of it.

Thanks.

Thank you, thank you.

I've been working on my butterfly, moth, and caterpillar ID this year. It is also the first year my wild cassia bloomed & grew big and bushy. The sulphurs have been all over it! And I had several visits from buckeyes this year. I have enjoyed them so much that I'm now making sure I grow some host plants for them in the future. They are quite lovely.

I've got a few from August, sorry about my photo quality, but photographer I am not. Pix 22, I hope you can see the size of this monster, I think it was about 9" tall!

And my favorite would be the odd looking moth. I can honestly say I've never seen any like that before!
