Congrats, Havalotta! I loved that photo, and the squirrel too!

Sage, did you ever id the "red thing"?

This months photos were particularly charming - the chickadee, frog and squirrel were all adorable.

Well I'll be! It's been a while since I've won. Thank you thank you
I've been online in search of that cool red Thang whatsit for quite some time but I've yet to identify it.
Closest I came was a cut leaf anemone or a columbine but I know those aren't hairy like that and it looks soooo familiar!

I thought that squirrel photo would look great converted to a line drawing for a coloring book.

I'll be passing out the personalized frog books (along with a fresh box of crayons) this Christmas for all the youngsters in the family.
It was a lot of fun creating those with the help from W.G. members...You too dap. Your toad is one of its entries.

I'm starting to want to make some of my own. ...and I still think it would be a great fund raiser to support the costs of the site.

I'm sure the youngsters will enjoy them...and, you'll be passing along and instilling a love of nature to the next generation.

Are you seriously thinking of doing that for W.G? If you're in search of photos.........

If others think it would be a good idea and a success, I'd be willing to work at trying to make some things look more like coloring book line drawings--note, I said "try"...aside from converting them to line drawings through a program, I'm not sure what all would be involved to do it right.
