Even though I was traipsing through the same area , It's always a pleasure looking at your photos. There's so much beauty to take in there's no way one can see everything. Through your eyes it just doubled the pleasure!

The 4th photo of your green swirled rock is exceptionally nice and I loved the split rock. I missed that one entirely....
Knowing how much I like my rocks...How could you NOT set such a gift into the car for me to discover!

Ummmm..... the rock you're lusting for was bigger than my car. I've got an idea.... we're going back that way the end of May sometime.... why don't you come with us and take some photos of it because.... I don't think it's gonna budge from where it's at without about 10 sticks of dynomite.

If we've the time (while in an upcoming road trip) I'd love to go back into Fern Clyffe and explore the Borks waterfall and hawks cave trail featuring the largest shelter bluff in Illinois that we missed the first time around.
