Default Ant Watching

Ants Video

Someone left some chips laying around. We had fun watching the ants carry them all the way back to their home.

When we left they had carried many chip chunks back to safety. They are pretty fast!

I was just watching their tug of war and laughing. The video never showed them making any real progress in one direction or the other and ants are usually pretty effective at moving goodies> Great little video you took.

If I were to guess I'd say Aphaenogaster cockerelli, but I'd need a closer look. Nice video.

They had some obstacles to go around but they are efficient. They moved good sized chip pieces 5 feet or so in less than 15 minutes.
