Default Signs of the times? We hope!

On my recent travels I visited the Chicago Botanic Garden, where they strive to educate the public about gardening. It is beautifully landscaped and everything thrives. They even have an office where anyone can drop in anytime with gardening questions of any kind. Equilibrium and I stopped in to chat and generally bug them with annoying questions. The woman behind the counter could not have been nicer. When I observed that it must be really nice to have the kind of funding where you could offer such a fabulous public service, the woman behind the counter said "Not really; we can only afford two employees." I gasped. All things are relative, I guess.

Regardless, they do some wonderful things. Signs of the times? We hope!-sign1.jpg

Here are several signs that I photographed to share with you all. Signs of the times? We hope!-sign2.jpg

Here's hoping that one day these signs will be unneccessary! Signs of the times? We hope!-sign3.jpg

Upon reflection, this thread should probably go in the Education forum. Does anyone know how to move a thread?

The gardens you got these signs from were well designed and flowing. I liked the way the plants spilled out over the borders.
