LAGRANGE — On Sunday, going green is more than just a slogan. It’s an extravaganza.

The Lorain County Metro Parks’ Carlisle Reservation is hosting the Earth Day Extravaganza from noon to 4 p.m. with environmentally educational events for the entire family.

Visitors will learn about endangered species, make crafts, play games, watch movies and take a hike to learn about invasive species.
“The Earth Day Extravaganza keeps with our year-round mission of fostering respect for the animals and plants native to our area and the environment,” Potonic said.
