Wow, what a list! If only I had more time to read. I'll have to print this and take it with me to the library.

Is there an Environment 101 list as well?

That is a good question Stoloniferous; I'll look into it. The list that I posted here was reproduced with the permission of the instructor. The professor that teaches ENVR 101 is on sabbatical, I think. I may not be able to get the list this semester.

Wow, thank you Hedgerow for this great list. What do you think of Bill McKibben's new book, EAARTH?

Books that I read recently that were great were The Big Burn and
COLD ADVENTURES IN THE WORLD’S FROZEN PLACES.

By Bill Streever.

Please keep us updated with books you like.

Hi Troutlily,

I added the three books you mentioned to the library shelves, in case anyone wants to discuss them:

Eaarth: Making a Life on a Tough New Planet (McKibben)

The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire that Saved America (Egan)

Cold: Adventures in the World's Frozen Places (Streever)
