Neato -the first bird is a Rose-breasted Grosbeak, probably a female (instead of a young male), and the second is a first winter female Snow Bunting. Pretty sure, anyway.

The adult male red-breasted grosbeaks are unforgettable - they'll sit in a treetop and sing away for hours. I've only seen a snow bunting once, when I lived up north.

Couple more to identify...
Two birds with ......-dscf6273.jpg
They are not wild birds but I found them most enjoyable to watch none the less in the large setting they were kept.
They looked almost canary like but quite a bit LARGER. Any idea what type they were? I've never seen a tame bird like these before.
