Default Wood Duck Nest Box

Doubles as a great place for eastern screech owls during the winter. I just took this shot today.

Excellent Photo!

You don't by any chance have any blue prints for that nest box that you could share do you?

This is a good site for most of the nest box plans that you would ever want. I set it to the Wood Duck page:
http://www.50birds.com/D50BH6.htm

I don't care for some of the products that they link to or their plans for Purple Martin housing. If you want to build a Purple Martin house this is the best plan:

A couple years ago we discovered bat living in our soffit,so i made a bat box for them,Within 2weeks wasps had taken it over.So cut some ceder(i use ceder to make traditional arrows for archery)into planks and made the same box out of it.The bats are happy in there home without the wasps bugging them

Does cedar prevent wasps from building?

What great photos! There are screech owls right in downtown Chicago...I saw(and heard!) quite a few of them while I was living there.

Very nice pictures of the owls. You are very lucky to have them visiting you.
