Default Birds in the Apple

So I thought some of you might be interested that the apple bird house I won here last year has a resident.

I think it's a wren of some sort.

Thanks for posting the happy wren in the gourd birdhouse photo! The apple gourd originated in my garden!! So happy to see it being used so productively.

The apple gourds have a thicker wall than most gourds, so they make terrific birdhouses!

It took me forever to open this thread, but now I get the title! Beautiful shot, by the way, MILTA.

I had a feeling it was a house wren. As long as you are not trying to attract bluebirds, I guess it shouldn't be an issue. I admit, I don't want one in our yard with the bluebirds, but house wrens are native birds.
