Looks like they are youngsters, just practicing. Our first female, Stelco, had several failed nesting attempts before she was successful. This pair never tried, as far as I know. The pair just a mile away fledged three young a few days ago. We may have some trouble with the two gangs on the same turf.

It is now five years later and Tornado is now the new resident male nesting at the Lansing Board of Water and Light Otto E. Eckert Power Station.

Peregrine means traveler or wanderer. Some peregrine falcons migrate from North America to South America and back.
