Smile Adding a little to a flower picture

I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, a professional or experienced photographer. I take pictures to try to capture some of the things that
I see. A couple things I have found.

First is that instead of just a picture of a flower, try capturing it after a
rain. The drops of rain can sometimes add special interest to the picture.
Secondly, I enjoy taking some flowers with morning dew on them. Not an
early riser. No problem. Go to a 99cent store and pick up a small pump spray bottle. Fill with water. Then when you want a picture with morning dew on it, spray the flower.

Just some thoughts.

It has been raining so much there's been no need to use a spray bottle lately. The "dew" does look nice on the roses. I don't think I would have thought of touching up a plant to take a photo. Rain drops on Solomon's Seal would look better than photographing the plant dry. Adds more interest. I would have cheated to get a better photograph if I had thought of it.
