I had no idea that we had that many species of native bees...I bet the general public didn't either.

I like that many of them are metallic and colorful. Great project to draw attention to them...aside from the fact they died.

I bet with 4,000 species,there must be quite a few uniquely colored ones.

Gorgeous photography, and did you see his low-tech light box? A styrofoam picnic box with a roughly cut hole, which he turns over and places over his bee set-up! Love it!
