Detail, detail, and more detail. I guess I got it into my head that I was conversing with a guy, and it stuck! Half of the names used on the site are much too cryptic for my small brain. The name Linrose meant nothing to me as an identifier of gender.

But, Dap, if you were attentive and paying attention like you now claim; how come when we disagreed you didn't seal the argument with mention of one of these "facts" you allegedly knew about her???

How did a discussion about corn rows turn into a discussion of what gender various WG members are? I am so confused...

No fight... just some playful bantering

If you recall, I stated that I remember it was *something* that she'd said in some of her posts...and it stuck in *my* head that she was female. ...must've been that she mentioned her husband. ...*could've* been that I saw her name in her introduction. Point is at one point I must've been paying attention.

Ah, turttle, dear, sweet, feminine turttle (see I was paying attention here too)...in some thread or another, jack was referring to linrose as "he" and I stated that I was nearly sure she was female. So, in this thread when she mentioned that she hadn't worn pantyhose in years, jack admitted to her that he always thought she was a guy. From there our (not so) witty banter ensued.

(clear now?)

Anyhoo...how's the corn doing, Lib? Hope you've gotten your power back, I read that many areas in your part of IL are back on the grid now.

Sage> "Where's your Sycamore?" Don't you like my lil bunnies>>>? Wait till you see my next avatar. I'll go back to my sycamore after I'm done playing.
--
jack> "It's a well known reality that guys rule!!" I tried a quickie search lookin' for some sort of a funny photo of women cyber flogging a guy and came up empty handed so you'll just have to wait to get "yours" from me until I catch up with having power on for a while.
--
linrose> I knew you were female!!! You couldn't be anything but female!!!
--
Pope> We got our power back then we lost it again then we got it back and lost it again 4 more x.... now they're telling us we're gonna lose it again while they make more repairs. Grocery stores that were outside this county that had power were pretty empty and there wasn't a generator to be found for a few counties either direction. I read we got 30,000 lightning strikes in one hour plus all the wind and by the looks of our streets.... it's gonna take a month to remove all the trees that went down that didn't hit wires. I have to say there's been a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow since we've picked up about 2 cords of wood from just the downed trees hauled out to the curb in our neighborhood. Corn is doing great!!! I doubt it'll hold up to the next storm on those scrawny little bamboo stakes though. I shoulda could woulda used 6' galvanized steel stakes and run a wire from end to end and cable tied the stalks to the wire but.... you know how it goes.... hind sight's always 20/20.

dapjwy> justa guess from the writing style but.... citra's female.

Bunnies? BUNNIES? I thought they were little chicks. Time for new glasses, I think. Sorry about the continued power outages, but congrats on the firewood! A literal windfall!

Naaa.... bunnies are Californians.... they look like hairless pink rats when they're born but their white hair starts coming in when they're about 4-5 days old. The chicks that just hatched are inside on my counter top in an old fish aquarium..... they're mostly black but I've got some that are blue. I'm getting ready to rotate those into the 150 gallon stock tank in the dining room after I swap out the chicks in that stock tank into the 300 gallon stock tank in the living room after moving those 4 week old chicks in that stock tank outside by the baby bunnies..... green acres is the place to be.... only instead of me being the one saying "darling I love you but give me park avenue" it's my husband saying it!!!
