I just spent the morning mowing with my DR trimmer. I just love mowing with string instead of a blade. The only trouble is I have to do all the mechanics on it myself with the help of customer service from the "tweety guy" up in Maine. (When you call customer service you get bird's tweeting while you wait for an answer).

You can cut into waist high grass with the string trimmer and there are several attachments -- including a beaver blade to cut brush. I haven't used that yet.
