1 we inherited. 1 was bought in running condition in case ours ever went kaput. The other 3 were bought for parts my husband tells me. He's a collector at heart and the 3 that don't run are left outside year round to make this place look like hill billy heaven. Cub Cadet has got to be a quality riding lawn mower because the two that run are about 30 years old and still chugging along and all we've had to replace are the white seats. But these aren't just useful lawn tools... they're also self contained plant propagation units. Eat your hearts out fellow plant propagators.

At first glance it looked like a blackberry plant. That could be handy. Riding around mowing all day could make you hungry. Grow your own snack on the seat.

I bought a cub cadet for the 16 acre historic property where I worked. Some locals were aghast since the site is next door to the local John Deere agency. But John Deere would some times make us wait 2 weeks for a repair.
The cub cadet dealer in Tuscaloosa - some 30 miles away - would send their trailer to pick it up - usually within an hour after I called - and it would be back in running condition the next day. Cub Cadets are not only great -- at least one dealer offers great service, too. I never thought of the Cub Cadet as a plant propagator --- could you explain that??? |

You poor thing. You have a Cub Cadet graveyard at your house and some of them are sprouting.

A plant is growing in a crack in the seat.

You win the prize!!! Congratulations biigblueyes!!! You discovered the secrets of the plant propagator. It's yours. You won your very own Cub Cadet plant propagation unit. When can you come and haul one off?

Wrong you are... it will not be half dead... it will be whole dead. The greenery does come with it. It's a propagation unit... remember?
