Yes! That's exactly what I meant! That's what I use. Rips lots of ickies right out of the ground roots and all non-chemically. Granted, it won't rip out a mature Bradford Pear but this tool is a work horse.

The canonbal link was maintained by a fellow named Steve Kennedy on the San Francisco Peninsula for the purpose of encouraging people living on the urban/wildland interface to control the fuel loads (wildfire danger) on their property. Hence he was an early provider of information online about the Weed Wrench as it was in his area of interest to do so. But he never made the Weed Wrench (I do) and when I finally got my own website four years ago (been making the tool for 20 years now) the canonbal site gave me fits for years after from people continuing to think it was the Weed Wrench site. Apparently the confusion lives on to this day with no WW info at canonbal being taken to mean that WW is out of business.
