That's easy!
I have a photo called DSC_0079 in a folder on my computer. After I type this I scroll down to Additional Options and click on the Manage Attachments button in the Attach Files box. The Manage Attachments window opens and I select Browse in the Upload File from your Computer box. When I find DSC_0079 I just click on it and then select the Upload button. It takes a minute to attach the file, but it appears in the Attach Files box where I started when it's finished. If I did it right this should be a bird: |

I clicked on the thumbnail and it enlarged beautifully. This is a really great thing for anyone who is on dial up so photos don't show up full size which takes for ever to load.
I was just wondering how to add a photo. Thanks so much for providing a good explanation. Now I've got something to play with tomorrow. |

Pardon me while I try this.
I click on the advanced options, then I get a full tool bar where I can click on the paper clip above and select jpeg then browse to the photo that I want that I stored on my desk top and it inserts the thumbnail that can be enlarged? Okiedokie. I did it. Let's see what happens. Editing to add- I'll be a son of a gun. That worked and it was quick and easy. |

OK, we're all blind or on our way so don't feel bad.
I couldn't find it either. This is the way I uploaded that photo. Type something. Look below for a button that says "Go Advanced". Click on that button. When you click on that button, up pops a whole new window with the text you were typing and two rows of tools above. Tools probably isn't the correct word but look up above your text. Find that little thing that is a paper clip and click on that. Once you click on that paper clip, you get a window that opens. In that window click on jpeg then move up to the area above that to the left of where it says browse. Click on browse and find the area on your computer where you have the photo you want. For me I store them on the desktop. Double click on the photo you want and its location will appear in the browse box. Now click upload, give it a moment to finish uploading and then it will say down and exit out. Go below and click submit reply and like magic, it appears as a thumbnail. It really works! |

I think you better get help from somebody else. That's a gif not a jpeg.
A jpeg should appear as a thumbnail that is able to be enlarged. |

The instructions worked for me until step 9.
OK here is where I have to admit I broke down your instructions to 10 steps Lorax. 9 states "it will say down and exit out." For me , after the photo uploaded, it states "done" at the bottom of the window then that window disappears and I move on to step 10. Click submit. Also, I believe you must be in Quick Reply not Post Reply? When do we use Post instead of Quick reply ? |
