Default Death of Last Northern White Rhino

I found this story to penetrate to the deepest part of my being, not to be overly dramatic... This is extinction of a major mammal before our eyes, on the level of the dinosaurs and the mammoths... so very sad and disturbing.

Latest AAA has an article on the writer/photographer. She talked about taking that photograph. She also talked about happier times when she dressed up as a panda to hang out with panda cubs.
