Illinois seems to be a hotbed of volunteer land stewardship, with some people going the extra mile, like this 'super steward' who set up a local web site:
EVS - Embarras Volunteer Stewards Homepage

He references the Volunteer Stewardship Network, which is an Illinois group coordinated the by The Nature Conservancy. Pennsylvania, in contrast, has only a Volunteer Coordinator with TNC.

Michigan also has a stewardship network:
The Stewardship Network - The Stewardship Network

It would be nice if we could find a stewardship organization in every state. Links could be posted here, and I could later organize and consolidate the list in a separate thread. Something similar to this:
List of State Naturalist and Master Naturalist Programs

I am not yet aware of any state-wide organization in Pennsylvania. But a formal list, of as many as could be collected, would be a good reference for Wildlife Gardeners visitors.
