"WHAT IS THIS? It's in my salad bars but the leaves don't look like salad." It's part of your green salad that "bolted". Cut it out. You DO HAVE room for one more 'lil Lonicera sempervirens.

We've got a beautiful rainbow!
Hubby's yelling at me for going out to get a photo of it while he's waiting for me to pick which power ball tickets I want...
I told him maybe it'a a sign......It's the winning pot at the end of the rainbow....I WISH!

Sage your balcony jungle is looking mighty fine.

Booboo, as soon as the plants went out to the balcony, Cookiecat immediately chomped on all of them looking for her favorite verbena which I didn't get this year. Whatever she's been eating, she's had diarrhea since.

havalotta, did you get the pot?

So what is this stuff I picked and served as salad tonight? We're still alive. The leaves were hard and didn't taste like lettuce but we ate them.

They could be the greens from something else, like radish. Or something in the mustard family. Or one of the oriental greens. Did you buy a lettuce mix, or just scattered assorted stuff?
