The Aracari was seen flying around the lodges but I had to look in the trees in the pastures to see one up close. I am told they do come to the fruit feeders sometimes.

Yep, I am told about 10 borrowing owl adults live in the volcano crater at any one time. We were able to observe two of them.

I hope to post the last of my Ecuador pictures in a couple of days.

Mindo is a very welcoming little town. Known for it's good food and thriving ecotourism industry. You can get everything from street side kabobs for a dollar to a excellent steak for around 7$....
