We have been seeing a HUGE number of monarchs flying through as well as large numbers of buckeyes and red admirals. We still find monarch caterpillars and even found 2 monarch eggs on a milkweed...

The plants did not die and most aquatic plants can be out of the water for short periods of time. The pump that I bought was well worth the money, it was about 3 times the cost of a "standard" pump....
