This is a tough question because I like what I cook better than restaurant food. We only get 1 pick>>>?

I think maybe nutritious quick breads to replace plain white bread and some snack foods. Adding pureed pumpkin or butternut squash in place of mashed bananas, experimenting with nuts and dried fruits and using grains other than wheat. So many of these recipes use far less fat and sugar than was traditional just a few years ago. While I start off with the recipes of others it easy to experiment adding what sounds like it will taste good and be similar enough to replaced ingredients to work.

Also the goal of much of my cooking has been to change the idea that meat or a meat looking substitutes are necessary for taste or satisfaction in eating.

For some reason I keep thinking along the lines of comfort food recipes.... the soup we love when we're sicker than dogs and the casserole we'd eat after going sledding for the day or maybe even the green bean casserole recipe it seems every family put a spin on to personalize for Thanksgiving. I'm still having problems coming up with just 1!!!

That's a really good answer. But my comfort foods are quite simple.
