Default Rhubarb punch

Rhubarb punch

2-12 oz packages of frozen rhubarb-or fresh
1/4 to 1/2 cup of sugar
1-6 ounce can of frozen lemonade concentrate
3 cups of water
2-7 ounce bottles of lemon lime carbonated beverage

Combine rhubarb, sugar, lemonade concentrate and water in a saucepan and cook until rhubarb is very tender (aprox. 20 min )
Strain and chill. Pour rhubarb mix over ice in a punch bowl and add the carbonated beverage just before serving. Makes 12 servings

For a healthy drink that does not loose its fizz.....
Cook the rhubarb in the sugar water until tender, strain, cool and chill.
Add the juice of your choice.... Lemonade, Orange, Cranberry, Lime, Cherry, to name a few.
Don't be afraid to experiment with your flavors.

Serve as needed over ice with a bit of sparkling beverage or carbonated water (which also comes in many flavors)
Sherbets make a wonderful addition!

I checked at one store and I couldn't find any frozen rhubarb. I'll have to keep looking. That recipe looks good.

Now that sounds like a creative use for rhubarb! I bet I'll try this one for sure.

I was going to point you to a thread of different rhubarb recipes, but, although it lists several different recipes, when I did the search, the thread is not a general recipes thread. Here it is anyway: Slow-cooker Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler

Thanks for the suggestion.

I DID put it into that thread but decided to move it once I noticed the threads title... Strawberry cobbler.

Cool. I didn't notice the thread title again until I did that search. Too bad we can't change the title to "rhubarb recipes" and keep them all together.

Doesn't matter where you posted it, I *do* want to try it.

I suppose you could create a thread specific to that if You'd like to copy and move them one by one...
