You knooooooooooooow.....If there's only two players.
![]() ONE of us will be laughing all the way to the bank... ![]() That is...... If there was a monetary prize involved. Speaking of prizes.......Linrose? Have you made contact with Sage yet or is she still having troubles connecting on her end? We'd LOVE to see what your new camera has to offer. Bring em on! Equill too, now that you have your camera back! There's LOTS of room to splash in the pool!

Yeah, I haven't been too inspired lately, no sun! The January blues got me I'm afraid. I haven't even tried to contact Sage, but perhaps for February? OK, I'm a procrastinator, you got me!
I'm still trying to figure out my camera, working on close ups and focus right now. Sometimes I just want to go back to my old SLR Pentax and good ol' fashioned film and give up on digital but patience is not one of my strong points. Gray can be beautiful too, I know. I'm just not feeling it right now. We've still got some time left in January. Everyone waits til a day or two before the end of the month anyway right? I've got the itch to go back to Sanibel, been pushing hard for a little vaca soon. Wanna go back to Ding Darling NWR with my new camera in hand, go shelling in the early morning, and just soak up some rays. I'm pretty sure Sage has been there with photos to prove it. Last time I went on a bicycle which wasn't the best idea, the dust from all the cars driving by made us choke and it was hard to get a chance to enjoy it. Ooh, good news! I saw the turkeys today, dozens of them! They were trotting up the ridge in the field, a little too far away to get a good pic but I'll be looking for them now. I've been wondering where they went off to. |

All and all, are you liking the way the shots are turning out with your new camera? I know change is not a fun thing..... I recall my switch to a digital a few years back. Once I tried it I never replaced the battery on my SLR. It's time for another. Probably the same one you just purchased but I've yet to get my butt out the door and actually go to the camera shop to see if it's available here. It's that old frugal way of thinking kicking in that keeps telling me.... Why buy something new when the old one still works.
