Ground is frozen...so I finally have a good excuse for not doing it.

Nah! I'm enjoying taking it easy (aside from shoveling about six inches of light snow yesterday) for now.

Dapjwy, You flip that awesome blue jay into play and I'll stand on one leg until we see some input from Linrose, Equill and the others.

Cool frost pics suunto! How did you capture that???
I saw a pileated woodpecker today, do you think I could get a shot? No way. Plus I've been eluded by the red-bellied that comes to the tree outside my window every morning. Excuses excuses, I know! Gray weather, winter blues, and a foot injury = no pics from me! Hopefully things will look up soon. Hava, you'd better sit down for a while, I wouldn't want you to injure a foot! |

Yes, more competition is in order! Your slow month still produced some worthy results. ![]() Quote:
![]() I got some blurred shots of a flicker a couple of weeks ago. Too many branches in the way for auto-focus and not enough time to switch to manual. Hope you heal quickly and get back on your feet--who knows, you still have a few days...you might end up with the winning entry.

Okay, okay...but 'cause I promised, not because you pulled out the whip!
While looking for it, I found another goldfinch photo to share.
