I am like so crossing my fingers and toes they send my camera back to me soon! This is killing me going without my camera and figures... a coyote leisurely strolled across my back yard and couldn't have been more than 100' away from me a coupla days ago.

Last month I trotted up to the plate with a pack of wild horses.

Some decomposers.... they're not native though. I think these are Cylisticus convexus. I moved a bag of hardwood chips and all these babies were underneath the bag. Tiniest little things. My "girls" enjoyed eating them.... yum yum.

I had no idea that they were not native insects. I grew up calling them pill bugs, I think...but I remember my dad calling them sow bugs too, I think.

I always thought they were kind of "cute" when I was a kid.
