Sage, Are you by chance in need of or ready for a bit of a break from judging?
If so, Would you like to try a rotating Judge type of a system come January?

I'd go along with it in a heartbeat but I'm wondering...... Would it stimulate more interest and play in the contests or detour people from entering?
Whomever wins Januarys contest would become the judge for Februarys P.O.M. Februarys winner would then take the roost and judge Marchs and so on, and so on.... Any comments?

That sounds like my kind of logic, hava! But I think the bigger threat is to those who don't enter! Those who do enter, may cherish the chance to win, but we know who has a camera and who doesn't enter, don't we?
nya ha ha

Not a bad idea at all.

I'll try to come up with something I'd like to enter next month okay? .....

....regardless if there is an enticing prize or not! Pride is prize enough for me.

Yes.... It was taken while in travel. I'm not sure if it was along the Pacific or the Atlantic though.
My son was flipping it about with his naked leg and sandals of all things until I told him even a DEAD one could deliver an extremely painful sting!

Glad you warned him and he made it through the experience unscathed.

(I could easily have been wrong about where they are found.)

I guess I'm not quite getting what you're meaning with that line but if it's meant as non players wouldn't have a chance at being a judge just let the gang know it's open and in need of a volunteer. I had included the suggestion only because I thought you may have liked or needed a break because of your recent computer connection issues and mishap.
I'm certainly not trying to bump you out of the office. I hope nobody took it that way.

I know I didn't take it that way. I thought Sage meant that some people may not want to enter a contest where they find they have the responsiblity of being a judge for the next one. Some may find it an honor, others a burden. I'm not sure if it would be a deterrent or not.
