Guess these guys just went for the good stuff, the blossoms!

Reminds me of Bambi when Thumper told him not to eat the clover, just eat the blossoms, "that's the good stuff" - I think these ants got the message!

I get lots of ants on the milkweeds. They are often after the 'honeydew' from the aphids. Also, they LOVE monarch eggs! Have you ever seen one carrying off an egg? Has made me cry several times!

I was just thinking...Perhaps you'd like to introduce yourselves here..http://www.wildlifegardeners.org/for...urself-please/
It's a great icebreaker for sharing your ideas, likes, dislikes, any projects you are working on and meeting other members.

I have to remember to suggest that link next time I welcome someone.

BTW, I think oxeyed has been around for a while...she (?) he (?) just doesn't post very often....and introduction would still be nice.

Oh ya.. Now that you pointed it out I see Oxeyed had joined May of 2009. Ooopsie, Sorry Oxeyed
I usually check the "introduce your self " area to see if they've used it and if not, Suggest it. It's aways nice to learn ones interests.

It took me a month or so before I introduced myself...so better late than never.

(BTW, havalotta, your inbox seems full.)

Thanks... I'll go delete a few. For some reason or other it saves "every message sent " even though I do not have that boxed checked to do so. Hmmmm
