I'm glad my opinion matters that much to you. ...Actually, I thought BOTH should be entered--if I didn't actually state it, I meant to...that butterfly pic makes me happy too.

I also liked them both but thought this was the better aesthetically. Since my first two submissions were of the same subject I thought I should vary the last two rather than have four pictures with only two subjects. I don't know why but I do. And if inducing happiness isn't considered an aesthetic property, it should be!

Aww man, now I'm all blushy and stuff.
I actually had three subjects with two worthy entries available; the moth (both submitted), the snake and the flutterbies. If you remember, there was another shot with four flutterbies in the scene. I chose this one as it also included the landscape. Plus, it best represented the "free spirit let loose".

...Wow! I was not expecting my photo to be included among these other beauties.
