I noticed the fawn lilies come in quite a few colors.
The only ones I've ever had the pleasure of viewing would be the yellow dogtooth violet...and yours.

I've only known the yellow variety...but I've seen pictures of other species--none of them local that I'm aware of.

Thanks Sage - I'm doing OK for right now ... and just for kicks (especially since I'm not judging) here is my entry for April (if I'm allowed to enter). A Vixen and Kit image from when I was lucky to watch a fox family for an entire year!

Glad to hear it...and glad to see you around again; hope you will be around more often (if possible).

Of course you can enter! Great picture and what a wonderful experience to be able to observe them for a full year.
