The secretive limpkin is about the size of a white ibis and blends in with the background so well making it almost invisible. It is also somewhat similar to an immature white ibis shown below.

It appears there is a fish brushing the surface...Tail ripples inclusive.
If there were fish spawning, you'd see quite a few surfacing like that in the shallows.
You may have captured more than you had thought.
