You and I think so much alike....
I was going to do the same upon my return this week to keep the flow going, announcing it as a place to post Februarys Photos.....
Leaving it up to them to announce weather they wanted it to be a contest or not.

Glad to see you're on the ball.
Sooooo Would you be calling this thread a contest????
Inquiring minds may want to know.
Weather it is a contest or not, It's still fun to see the best of the best each month!

Wonder where Dave's been????
Maybe we should take the ball and run with it and create a poll area for choosing THIS months winner at the close...Prize or no prize.

I think it would be fun to include all of us in the judging....
Anyone know how to create a poll if it turns into such??

Rebek, that's really interesting. I'm in North Carolina and we had a mast year on our acorns last year; this year is really scant. I would have thought that our climates would have been similar enough that the oak trees would be synched but apparently not. My squirrels are looking really scrawny at the moment and there are no acorns to be found on the ground, so I am being a little more tolerant of them at my feeder at the moment - it seems like about two weeks ago they got really hungry and I can't keep them away. I suspect their store houses ran out.

I love your photo. It is a great feeder and your squirrel looks quite pleased with himself.

Turttle, the feeder is the cheapest one available at Lowe's, just a coil of wire with a hanging hook. We attached it to a woodpecker snag in the side yard with a shelf bracket left over from a project, and rather than hanging onto the pine bark and reaching into the feeder, the squirrels sit on the bracket despite the cold metal.

Hate to be so ignorant but where do I post my photos and how do I see results of previous months?

To add photos to this month's contest, add pix in your reply comment on this thread. Pix must be taken in February and four is the limit. Do you need help adding photos?
If no WG offcial is here to judge, we will do a poll. Dave Stiles usually does it but we haven't heard from him lately.

Type the word contest into the search box up above and hit go....It will bring in quite a few of the past contests, otherwise type the month in and that may bring you to any others missed in the first search...Do you know how to upload photos?
