The two nests look like eyes with the lights being the legs - one very large spider??
Where did you store them that they picked up the wasps? I had a black widow crawl out of my fake Christmas tree a few years back - that was a kick.

When I pulled my boots out of storage last winter and put them on, I felt a big clump of something in the boot.
Thought it was an old sock, so took off my boot and turned it upside down and......a mouse ran out! Eeeek!

I don't store my boots in the garage in anymore.

Around camp... dumping the boot out first comes naturally.

Sage> "I hope they're outdoor lights!" They're indoor lights.... I got a kodak moment for the holidays!!!! turttle> We store em in large ziplocks. The only thing I can think is there must've been a stray wasp flying around in the house and we rolled em up without ever noticing the mud pots and put it away in the ziplock. You're jealous.... go ahead.... admit it!!! 4B> Too funny, "Thought it was an old sock, so took off my boot and turned it upside down"... I wouldn't have turned it upside down.... I woulda stuck my whole hand in to pull out the sock. Boy would I have been surprised.

Osprey
December 2010 Photo of the Month Contest - post entries here-december-osprey-dscf1441.jpg
Quote:
INTERESTING FACT:
Ospreys have an opposable toe that can face forward or backward.
While the bird is perched, it usually has three toes in front and one in back.
When an Osprey catches a fish, its feet and toes are positioned with two toes on either side of the fish, one foot ahead of the other.
The head of the fish faces forward in a streamlined position for transport through the air.
