With much sweating and thought I spent most of today looking at the January entries for Photo of the month - it came down to three images.
I am going to award January to Sage and the wonderful image of a deer. Honorable mention goes out to joepyeweed for the osprey image and Stoloniferous for the wonderful snowflake images - something I have never been able to pull off... Congratulations Sage!!!

![]() ![]() Everyone's going to be so envious of my prize! Thank you WeedMan! Line up guys, and maybe I'll let you borrow it after I've learned everything I can from it! But, it will come with a stamped return envelope fershur! I'm a slow learner too. ![]() Congrats to joepyeweed for that great action shot and Stoloniferous for the terrific snowflakes. Amazing! btw, that beautiful deer is the subject of some debate here, as some of you know. Who could resist falling in love with that face? ![]() |

Gratz, Sage and Joepye!
Thank you Dave. Eventually, I hope to learn how to really use this snazzy macro lense properly. ![]() |

Congratulations Sage. That photo grabs my attention. It's as if I'm right there with the deer.
The Osprey is very well done. The snowflakes are well done. Dave, nice idea to show the top three.
