Sage, the Fox squirrel is really neat looking. I have never heard of them before!
Thanks for posting the link. |

I looked at BooBooBecky's first photo and couldn't figure out what the fuzzy grey thing was until I looked at the next ones. Out of context, it is a funny photo! I love the honey bee with the sun glowing through it from MrILovetheAnts (see, I got his name right this time!) and Sage's ladybug. I've hardly had my camera out this month at all. I think I'll sit back and admire all y'all's work (that's southern talk, y'hear?)

Here are 3 from me. These are all from this year. The Sulfur Shelf/Chicken of the Woods mushrooms sort of look like candy corn to me, so I guess they're appropriate as Halloween approaches.
The Canada Geese were in Long John Slough by the Little Red Schoolhouse nature center, they came over to see if we were going to feed them, I think. The red maple leaves were found, where else, Maple Lake, all spots in the south suburbs of Chicago in Cook County forest preserves. John ![]() ![]() ![]() |

They *do* look like candy corn. You should add the maple pic to the fall colors thread as well. |
