Wood chucks are pretty neat animals...
Are they the ones that give you a squeal or was it the muskrats that let out a squeal when startled?

I love your woodchuck! I only see them by the side of the road occasionally, or unfortunately dead on the road. I don't think they like my soil for digging and I've never seen one on my hill.
Your grasshopper is really cool, too and the goldenrod is beautiful.

Cool nights, and dew filled mornings
![]() provide moisture in a ripening field. Sweet... round.... plump.... grapes ![]() kissed by the morning sun. Corn, making its final stand. ![]() The combine, wins in the end. Summer.... ![]() Blows away, all too soon.
