Default Photo of the Month Prizes

One of the true pleasures of this group is the mutual appreciation of whatever you can capture and communicate, in words or in images.

The Photo of the Month contest will continue to have prizes. Thank you for your contributions.

Count me in for a photo of the month prize. I'll add this to whatever you've got in mind to send out, Life in the Soil: A Guide for Naturalists and Gardeners by James B Nardi. I really love this book and it's great for native plant folk and veggie folk.

For August 2010 the winner(s) will receive a jar of honey that I've harvested from my hives here in Somerdale, NJ. Happy Shooting.

I can donate a book that I did for Hancock Publishing if you are interested. Three of us did a book each, I did the Coastal book.

I can do any of the following:
Get the winning photograph enlarged and printed onto special paper that is semi adhesive on the back. Perfect for peeling and sticking to your freezer door to hide the scratches that your daughter accidentally put on your brand new shiny black fridge/freezer (okay, that was what I did but you can do whatever you want).

I can also get the photo printed and make a custom frame for it. Just not like Havalotta's, that would minimize the uniqueness of hers.

I might even be convinced to donate something like this:
http://www.wildlifegardeners.org/for...d-project.html

I would of course leave it up to the winner to decide...
