Birdmandea - The system will make the thumbnails automatically, you don't have to do anything.

Default Bizzarely Beautiful

Wow, a week into May and I'm the first post. Well, I guess spring is the busiest time for gardeners.
I realize that this will be the second month in a row that I have posted a close-up of a fiddlehead as a photo-of-the-month entry, but when I saw this I just had to share it. I looked at this image for over 15 minutes, it was that fascinating to me. What a beautiful, bizarre world we live in!

Greetings to all, here is a little guy I found this week. S/he is a one day old Canada Goose.

Take care

Default fiddlehead!

Beautiful fiddlehead, Bulucanagria! We used to eat these when I was a kid. Tastes like asparagus!

birdmandea: precious little gosling! I helped a mama mallard a few days ago with her day old ducklings. She was having trouble navigating her way through a neighbor's fence, so I guided her through and to the bay. So cute to see the little ones take their first swim!

Oh my gosh! I want to go to Moraine Lake now! Is that near where you live? It is so beautiful! I have such a feeling of calm looking at your photo!
