Not yet. If I can't find it on the web and nobody here can help, then I'll put it on BugGuide.com and have an answer in minutes. It's not listed in my Audubon Guide to New England so it's not one of the more common ones, although it's not necessarily rare.

Havalotta: That really is an amazing shot! It is as if the damsel is taunting the frog. Nah, nah, you can't eat me!
Birdmandea: What precious little chickadees! The first photo is simply priceless.

I was trying to capture a few dragon fly shots when I noticed a fairly large tree frog nestled within the cat tail reeds. I removed my sandals and proceeded slowly into the pond after him, the warm goo squishing between my toes.... After his photo shoot this little bloater breast stroked his way past me. I slunk down and crept a bit further. Trying for a bit more of a natural view of him than from above I lowered myself down, chin almost into the water and took this shot just as the dragonfly made his appearance. In an instant he was gone. Myself..... I ended up with a wet behind, so focused on sneaking in I hadn't realized my own tail was soaking up the drink.... Quote:

This month's contributions; it was a slow month, photography-wise here...
