Sage, your owls are great. They make me laugh because they look soooo annoyed! I really like the elk, Kildale--what a good shot. Bulucanagria and Dap ja wah-little-grasshopper, your snowy shots are lovely and peaceful.
Bear with me everyone. These photos are very much like the one I submitted in December, but I took these this morning. Much better drifting this time, much more sculptural, and just the coolest shadows from the picket fence. |

That's prime, Hedgerowe, as the kids say. (Actually, I have no idea what the kids say, but they should say it)

Well I missed the weather photo contest by a day. So I thought "What the heck" I post them here.
It looked like fog but it was frozen and drifting, when the sun came and the fog vanished everything was covered in boar frost. Pictures of coneflowers and monarda.

People think I'm crazy but I love snow, in moderation, meaning heavy snowfall is ok but it should be done by mid-march. I took a walk at Wachusett Reservoir today and snapped a bunch of pics. This is the only one that seemed to stand out at all. I'm not sure what kind of berries those are but I know the spot and I'll go back and find out later this year.
