trophy Winners Announced!!! December 2009 Photo of the Month Contest

What a series of images ... real tough this month and what a way to end the year. So many fine images and every month brought better and better as others found the contest. Enough rambling, here are the results:

1st - Havalotta and the Sunset

2nd/3rd - MaggyNoLia and the Hawk ... it tied with Swamp Things Trees!!!

Honorable Mention - Hedgerow for the wonderful winter fence shadow. And last but not least, Kildale for the Heron.

Great images and I am looking forward to an even better contest in 2010 as even more find this little corner of the internet.

I don't know how Dave can possibly pick from such wonderful and diverse shots. Great choices, Dave. They're all stunning.

Congratulations to the takers of such incredible photos.

Wow, What a way to end the year! Hoo Ha.... Thank you
I received my digital camera exactly one year ago today.
I look back upon some of my earlier trials and entries and I must say.....
Thank you to EVERYONE for your help in tutoring me.
I've learned sooooo much and couldn't have gotten this far without all of you!

I'd like to say congratulations to Maggys Hawk, SwampThings Trees,
Hedgerows winter fence shadows and Kildales Heron.
It was great fun and I truly enjoyed viewing everyones entries throughout the entire year!
